Q. What should I wear at The River?

Dress comfortably. Some people dress up, but most wear casual and comfortable clothes on Sunday mornings. Don't worry about what you wear, as you'll never feel out of place when you come casual.

Q. When should I arrive?

Due to parking and traffic considerations, plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of Worship or Bible study. Worship Services begin at 10:45 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

Q. Where do I park?

Visitor Parking is available at the front of the building.  Handicap parking spaces are available in the front, next to the door.  Plenty of additional parking space is available at the left side of the building.

Q. What about children?

Quality nursery care and children's classes are available in a safe and secure environment. We take the safety and security of your child very seriously. Children's Ministries are available for ages 3-12 during Sunday morning worship.

Q. How do I contact a staff member?

We have a comprehensive staff listing to help you in contacting anyone on our staff. If you need assistance, you can call our main number at (256) 582-6906.

Q. How do I submit a prayer request?

You may submit prayer requests by emailing therivercog@bellsouth.net and also by completing a communication card located in the pews.  

Q. What are your office hours?

Our office hours are Monday – Thursday, 8a.m. to 3 p.m. and Friday by appointment.

 

Directions To The River

The River is located at 2000 Evangel Circle in Guntersville, Alabama. Guntersville is located approximately 30 minutes south of Huntsville and 40 minutes north of Gadsden. From either direction, follow US Highway 431 to Guntersville and turn across the street from the Waffle House (next door to Holiday Inn) onto Evangel Circle and go up the hill. You will see signs directing you to The River.
